Management Team
Christopher Himing - Managing Director
Christopher Himing is the driving force behind Urban Risk. With over 20 years in the security industry Chris has a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
Chris’s experience ranges from managing his own installation companies to national management positions for industry leaders such as Security Merchants, Pacific Communications (A division of Hills Industries) and Alan Brown and Associates. From conceptual security system designs to delivering projects within time frames, Chris has completed works for CSIRO Geelong, ANZ Bank (Major Buildings), Department of Human Services and Port of Melbourne and shares his industry knowledge as a lecturer on CCTV at RMIT University. Chris has undertaken Cardax training and has worked on systems from design, through to final system programming and training.
Rick Drozdowicz - Project Manager
Rick Drozdowicz has over 25 years of experience in the security industry in project and service management. He has been employed with organisations such as Wormald and TAC where he spent 15 years managing projects with contract values in excess of $4 million dollars.
Rick has a vast knowledge of all aspects of the industry and has been involved in delivering project solutions to major companies including CSL, SP Ausnet, Port of Melbourne Authority and Department of Human Services. Rick has undertaken Cardax training and has worked on systems from design, through to final system programming and training.
Shane Lott - Service Co-ordinator
With over 20 years experience in security guarding/technology and service related fields, Shane has worked for many organisations including; Department of Defence (Army), Hilton Hotel – Cairns, Hayman Island – Whitsundays, Crown Casino - Melbourne, Chubb Electronic Security and Sanctuary Lakes Resort – Point Cook. Shane is a graduate of RMIT with both a Certificate and Graduate Certificate in security management.
With attention to detail and an ability to provide a focussed delivery, Shane has co-ordinated the provision of 5 star service to and for some truly world class companies. From the scheduling of routine service inspections to the provision of technical and specialist services across the Urban Risk portfolio, Shane and our service team pride themselves on delivering service first class, first time, every time.
Sales Team
Ana O'Brien - Sales Executive
Ana O’Brien has over 17 years of experience in the Financial Sector 9 years in ATM/Eftpos Technologies/Helpdesk and 3 years in ATM Banking as the ANZ ATM Banking Representation Co-ordinator, six years in the commercial security industry in Operations, projects, service, maintenance and installations. She has served over the last five on a major financial institution contract as a National Operations Manager and has covered every facet of Service Contract Management and delivery.
Ana has a vast knowledge of all aspects of the industry and has been involved in delivering project solutions to major companies including ANZ, NCR, Jones Lang LaSalle, and Bovis Lend Lease. Ana has undertaken PACOM GMS training and has worked on systems from design, through to final system commissioning. Ana has Certificate IV in project management and is currently undertaking a course for certificate IV in Risk and Security Management.
